Investigating Sound

We are starting to read, write and convert time between analogue and digital 12 hour clocks.

Number Talk - What do you know about the number 48?

We took part in a practical lesson to see how a basic circuit worked. We were introduced to different investigations including: how to make a bulb shine more brightly; will a circuit work with foil. We were also introduced to the basic language of circuits including: cell, battery, conductor, voltage, switches, motors and buzzers.

This term we will be learning all about The Romans. -Over half term, we completed our own projects.

We created number talk posters.

We used clay to make rainforest animals.

In geography, we worked in pairs to create maps of Earth. First we identified and located the seven continents. Then we drew red lines to represent the Equator, the Tropic of Cancer and the Tropic of Capricorn. We then used an atlas to locate the different Rainforests around the world.

The Shoe Challenge - Make a shoe for one person out of newspaper! It must come on and off easily without coming apart.
